"Singing for Greener Tomorrow" has a vision and mission is to create a platform to generate awareness about our environment and use music as a vehicle to bring communities together. The Album contains two tracks, the Theme Track and the Base Track. The composer is Sandeep Khurana and the following tracks are available to everyone to use and submit their upgraded compositions based on these tracks to create music for our theme song. This album is launched by Potmax Music and currently available on iTunes, Amazon mp3, CD Baby and many other music stores. Other stores may collect download money while CD Baby is selling for $0.

For us to select your music as our Title song for any language (each language is a separate category) here is the procedure:

1) You need to have a free login account on our website: http://www.singingrecord.com/community.html

2) You can download the Theme Track and Base Track from here: http://www.singingrecord.com/music/S/2-sandeep-khurana/2-singing-for-greener-tomorrow-theme-music.html

3) You need to compose lyrics, sing and use the base track for music. If you cannot sing, you can use any other singer too. It’s totally upon you.

4) The lyrics in your language need to relate to people and environment (no foul language should be used)

5) You can then upload your composition (preferably in 16 bit mp3 format) and if you want can upload an album art (1000 px x 1000 px jpeg file), you need to have a free user account on our website: http://www.singingrecord.com/community.html and then use the drop down menu under the top menu "Music"

6) You need to ask your friends to vote through the “rate this album” or provide comment, we will be collecting all statistics from the backend and on the front end you can see the number of stars and how many people voted. Only people having a free account on our website is allowed to vote (This is to ensure that no automatic scripts are used to generate the hits)

7) The winner will be decided on the total number of votes / category (language)

This contest will run from Nov 9, 2011 till January 9, 2012 (or we may decide to extend or stick to the date). The winners will be selected to sing/perform at our events, with a full recognition from “Singing for Greener Tomorrow”, through this contest we are bringing all communities together to generate awareness about our environment.
